how to prevent balding

If you’ve noticed your hair beginning to thin lately, you’re not alone.

Male pattern baldness will affect two-thirds of men globally – in the UK this means 7.4million men are experiencing hair loss at any one time.

And it’s not just men. An estimated six million women in Britain experience a form of hair loss as well – and this can be a warning sign of anything from diabetes, stress, vitamin deficiencies or a lack of sleep.

However, research has shown it is possible to renew hair through dietary changes. Here are five foods that are proven to combat hair loss.

1. Honey

There is now a very good reason to keep a jar of honey in the shower.

A study found those who applied a solution of 90% honey and 10% water to their scalp every other day for a month reported an improvement in hair loss.

Avoid Constant heating & drying: Do not open up hair to too much heating and drying techniques since this process is said to lessen hair proteins which will ultimately weaken the hair giving it fragility.GETTY IMAGES/AGE FOTOSTOCK RM
